Dreams

So have you ever had a dream that felt so realistic, that you actually woke up expecting to actually be in the middle of the action you were dreaming about?
Dreams have always made me think. I had a book on interpreting them when I was a teenager (I know, I was weird). I would wake up every morning and some time throughout the day, look up certain parts of my dream from the night before to see what it really 'meant'. Of course none of what the book said was ever true.
But it makes me wonder. Do we all have the same type of dreams? Do we all dream in color, in black & white or both? Are the same places/buildings/people in everyones dreams every night or are they just completely random and ridiculous? Do they mean anything?

I can't be the only one that thinks about these things.

I feel like at least once or twice a week I am calling Corey to tell him about the ridiculous dream I had the night before. I know he probably gets tired of my stories but I am very grateful for him listening to them, or at least pretending to. (:
Anyway, my dreams are way better than Stephenie Meyers.**For those of you who have fallen off the face of this earth for the past 7 years, she claims that she dreamt the whole Twilight series up and turned it into a BOOK and what is now, a huge ba-jillion $$ movie. **

Ive always wondered if my dreams were 'normal'- if that is even possible. I don't dream about random things. Its like I lay my head on my pillow at night and pick up where the story left off the night beforehand. My dreams are like one huge movie, with a bunch of interrelated parts that I have not come to the end of. I guess you could say it is like tuning into the same soap opera everyday at exactly 2 oclock in the afternoon.  There are 4 buildings total that I dream about.

One night, it may be one house, another night it could be another. But there are always the same people and same buildings. Maybe this is my brains lack of creativity or me being to lazy to think of anything else to dream about.
One of the 4 buildings is way older than the other 3. In a sense of the time that it has been built, and in the time that I have been dreaming about it. lts the same 2-story, white house with a single staircase in the main foyer that dead ends into a 'T' for the rest of the house. There are rooms on both sides of the staircase, both upstairs and down. In some dreams, this house may be old and abondoned, while in others it may be very lively with many people in it. It just depends on the "theme" of the dream and where the house is at in the complete 'timeline' of the movie.
Another building is actually a Disney world type thing that is completely under a whole warehouse. It feels kinda like you are walking along the movie set portion of MGM/Hollywood Studios, just indoors.

I promise I am not on any medications nor do drugs of any type! They are very weird indeed. Who knows, maybe one day I will make millions of dollars off of something that just 'came to me' one night while I was sleeping.

What a D*#$!@^!

Have you ever looked at someone and thought "What a complete idiot"? Normally, I am not THIS mean to write a complete blog about someone, but let me tell you what inspired this post.

So I was sitting in the drive thru line at Chick-fil-a (the one on Schillenger). I ordered my food and pulled up, waiting to pay. I still had my windows rolled down and heard the lady in line behind me orders a JBC: Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and some fries with a large coke. HELLO! This is not Wendy's. I felt so bad for the guy that had to tell her the place she was looking for was across the parking lot, their competitor (if you want to call it that). I mean, did the lady just completely not look at the menu, or the building that she pulled up too? Because Chick-fil- a doesn't even remotely look like Wendys. And the last time I checked, Wendy's did not say "Hello, Welcome to Chick-fil-a, May I take your order?", when you pull up to the box. So this left me laughing & saying "What a DUMBASS".

I seriously worry about some people. But sometimes, we just need a good laugh.
So for your enjoyment, some more people that are not the brightest crayon in the box.

Bye, Bye 2012

Resolutions that I fully intend on accomplishing this year:

1. Wean myself off of sodas. I drink WAY too much Coke zero.
2. Travel somewhere that I have not been yet.
3. Stay off of my email/phone/Facebook when I am with family, friends & boyfriend.
4. Find a full time, big girl job.
5. Be more adventurous.
6. $5 rule: everytime I have a $5 bill, put it in the piggie bank.
7. Have more 'me' time. I never do anything by myself!
8. Read more.
9. Take a cooking class. Im tired of my family bragging on how much better Corey cooks than me!
10. Learn to say 'no'. Without regret. or worrying.

So there they are! Hopefully I can stick to them- fingers crossed. Happy New Year everyone!
